The Cornett Family is one of the sweetest and most photogenic families I’ve photographed!!!! When they suggested Mellwood Arts for a family session, I was excited. At that time, I had only photographed seniors and weddings at that location. It’s such a unique and fun place!

The Steven’s kiddos are always  so much fun to photograph. I am lucky enough to photograph them at least once or twice a year.  They are both beautiful and with so much personality!

We got to travel to some great locations for Melanie’s senior portraits.  We started at Cherokee Park, went along River Road and then finished at Mellwood Arts.  Senior girls are the easiest sessions.  The girls are always dressed beautifully and have no trouble smiling for the camera and the end result is fantastic pictures!  Melanie was so genuinely beautiful that her session goes up there with one of my favorite of all time sessions!

Lindsey graduated from University of Louisville, Go Cards!   And she is such a beautiful girl.  I have to be one of the luckiest photographers in the city to photograph such beautiful people!  Congratulations Lindsey!

As I meet the families that I photograph, I often walk away and think “wow” I am so lucky to have spent time with them.  Many of my clients make me see life in a different perspective.   Jackson was no exception.  His mom and I had more in common than just about anyone I’ve met in my life.  I wasn’t sure why she asked me to photograph her son’s senior pictures, because she is an amazing photographer herself I was surprised but honored.  Seniors, especially boys are not always the most enthused when it comes to pictures.  Girls, on the other hand…..love love love their pictures but Jackson was fun to work with.  His mom, Meredith sent me this sweet email.

 “OH MY GOODNESS.  Love love love these!   FANTASTIC Stephanie....There's still that forced look in there a few times and then...BAM!  A genuine, non-forced, non-self-conscious smile.  Thank you thank you thank you! :)  Made me cry before I really got out of bed this morning! “
