I hope this past weekend all of you that are mothers or play the role of a mother to someone, whether it be a grandmother, an aunt, a sister, to those who have young children, grown children or those carrying children, enjoyed your special day.

Baby Gap model perhaps? Ella was complete smiles through our entire session. At 9 months, she has this much personality, I can’t imagine when she’s 3. Her brother Copper is just as cute, but our focus this session was on Ella….thanks Stacy for a great morning, Ella was the greatest!

How cute is Brooks? I am new to the “studio like” world of photography. I am adding new backgrounds monthly and this is one of my first few sessions with backdrops. It works the same, I need natural light but at least temperature is not a factor! We shoot indoors on your kitchen or dining room floor, in your garage or even in your screened in patio. It takes a few minutes to set up but I think the familiar environment of your home helps with the more natural feel of our session!

How beautiful is Emily? And can you believe we were in her backyard? When she called and mentioned that she just wanted to shoot her senior pictures at home, I was a bit hesitant. Well there was clearly no found reason for my hesitation. Her backyard was five acres, filled with character and beauty. Her mom just walked the trail behind us with Emily’s clothes basket, mirror and makeup. Thanks, Emily for a great session.

The Kiziminski family is one of the most photogenic families I photograph!!! Erin, as I have mentioned several times throughout my blog, is my childhood best friend. I often travel to my clients homes, since most have small children. I would say it is a definite advantage to getting more of a “real life” session. Although with traveling to homes, I have no idea where in your house or yard we may have our session, so the style of my pictures is always changing. Erin recently moved and has a great field behind her house. It was a little windy that day but we had a great session.

How stinking cute are these twin boys???!! They were the funniest family ever! So much personality in that house. Wendy, would say the cutest thing when trying to make the boys laugh….it’s actually stuck with me and now I say it to my Annabelle all the time, “Llama, Llama, no more drama” after the Llama, Llama series kids books. Thanks for a great session!
