I met the Rinadli Family at Locust Grove one evening, which by far was my favorite location this fall. I have many, many more family sessions to post that were taken there. Although, my goal is to focus on you and your child, having a diverse location with a lot of elements makes for a great session. At Locust Grove, we have trees, a house with a front porch, open fields, a patch of the most colorful flowers as well as lots of older doors and buildings. Soooo, if you ask me where is my favorite place to shoot, this would be it. They were referred to me by Kyton’s family and after posting these two sessions….they kind of look alike! Both incredibly CUTE!
Meet Mr. Kyton. He is as cute as his name! I met he, his grandma and his mom at their home. We just played in the backyard….actually we played in their neighbor’s backyard. I’m in love with his red hair and blue eyes!
It’s always fun catching up with friends from college. Brayden’s mom, Missy was a sorority sister and I have not seen her in years. She was just as sweet and cute as ever:) I met Missy at her home, as I do with a lot of sessions. Brayden’s blue eyes just sparkled in every picture!!!! He was working on sitting up and was doing a fantastic job. Such a mild mannered little guy. Thanks for allowing me to capture Brayden’s 6 month old moments.
Engagement sessions are always fun, there is so much love to capture.
I met Stacy and Adam at Cherokee Park and from there we traveled to Garden Court, River Road and then to the Yum! Center. Go Cards! I loved the idea of them bringing their children to the session. The older I get, the more I am surrounded by second marriages and friends with children that are getting married. Therefore, with my sessions, I rarely follow any “rules”. My “idea” of photography is to photograph life not just as I see it, but as you live it.
Something I have come to learn from personal experiences over the course of this past year is the term “family” does not have to be defined as Mom, Dad and children. The definition just needs to include love. I have a stronger sense of family and love today than I’ve ever had.
Thanks, Adam and Stacy for a great session, can’t wait to photograph your wedding.
